युधिछिर उवाच
The verse models dhārmic self-presentation: Yudhiṣṭhira speaks truthfully, respectfully addresses a Brahmin, and clarifies kinship and guardianship (brothers together with their mother), reflecting ethical conduct in vulnerable circumstances.
Yudhiṣṭhira introduces himself and his companions to a Brahmin, stating that they are brothers traveling together and that they have arrived from the city of Ekacakrā with their mother—setting the context for their life in concealment and interaction with local Brahmins.
