वसिष्ठ उवाच एवमुक्तास्तत: सर्वे राजानस्ते तमूरुजम्‌ । ऊचुः प्रसीदेति तदा प्रसादं च चकार स:,वसिष्ठजी कहते हैं--पराशर! ब्राह्मणीके यों कहनेपर उन सब क्षत्रियोंने तब और्वको (प्रणाम करके) कहा--'“आप प्रसन्न होइये।" तब (उनके विनययुक्त वचन सुनकर) औरर्वने प्रसन्न हो (अपने तपके प्रभावसे) उनको नेत्रोंकी ज्योति दे दी

Transliteration

Vasiṣṭha uvāca: evam uktās tataḥ sarve rājānas te tam ūrūjam | ūcuḥ prasīdeti tadā prasādaṃ ca cakāra saḥ ||

Translation

Vasiṣṭha sprach: „So angesprochen, traten all jene Könige vor den Nachkommen Uru’s und sagten: ‚Sei gnädig; sei zufrieden.‘ Als Aurva ihre demütige Bitte hörte, wurde er weich und erwies ihnen Gunst — er gab ihnen das Augenlicht zurück.“
