Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s Enumeration of Assembled Kṣatriyas
सौदासो<हं महाभाग याज्यस्ते मुनिसत्तम । अस्मिन् काले यदि ते ब्रूहि किं करवाणि ते,“महाभाग मुनिश्रेष्ठ! मैं आपका यजमान सौदास हूँ। इस समय आपकी जो अभिलाषा हो, कहिये--मैं आपकी क्या सेवा करूँ?”
saudāso ’haṃ mahābhāga yājyas te munisattama | asmin kāle yadi te brūhi kiṃ karavāṇi te ||
„O Glückseliger, o bester der Munis! Ich bin Saudāsa, dein Yajamāna, der Opferherr. Sage mir jetzt, in diesem Augenblick, was du begehrst—welchen Dienst soll ich dir erweisen?“
