द्रौपदी-स्वयंवर-प्रारम्भः
Commencement of Draupadī’s Svayaṃvara
शक्ति नाम महाभागं वसिष्ठकुलवर्धनम् । ज्येष्ं पुत्र पुत्रशताद् वसिष्ठस्थ महात्मन:,वे वसिष्ठजीके वंशकी वृद्धि करनेवाले महाभाग शक्ति थे। महात्मा वसिष्ठजीके सौ पुत्रोंमें सबसे बड़े वे ही थे
Śakti nāma mahābhāgaṃ vasiṣṭha-kula-vardhanam | jyeṣṭhaṃ putraṃ putra-śatād vasiṣṭhasya mahātmanaḥ ||
Der Gandharva sprach: „Da war ein höchst erlauchter namens Śakti, ein Mehrer des Geschlechts Vasiṣṭhas. Unter den hundert Söhnen des großherzigen Weisen Vasiṣṭha war er der Erstgeborene.“
