कान्यकुब्जे महानासीत्‌ पार्थिवो भरतर्षभ । गाधीति विश्रुतो लोके कुशिकस्यात्मसम्भव:

kānyakubje mahān āsīt pārthivo bharatarṣabha | gādhīti viśruto loke kuśikasyātmasambhavaḥ ||

Der Gandharva sprach: „O Stier unter den Bhāratas, in Kānyakubja herrschte einst ein mächtiger König, in der Welt berühmt unter dem Namen Gādhi. Man sagte, er sei als wahrer Sohn Kuśikas geboren.“
