Shloka 52

Vasiṣṭhasya śokaḥ, Vipāśā–Śatadrū-nāmākaraṇam, Kalmāṣapādasya bhaya-prasaṅgaḥ (Ādi Parva 167)

तथेत्युवाच तं याजो राज्ञ: प्रियचिकीर्षया । तयोश्व नामनी चक्रुर्द्धिजा: सम्पूर्णमानसा:,तब राजाका प्रिय करनेकी इच्छासे याजने कहा--'ऐसा ही होगा।/ उस समय सम्पूर्ण द्विजोंने सफल-मनोरथ होकर उन बालकोंके नामकरण किये

tathety uvāca taṁ yājo rājñaḥ priyacikīrṣayā | tayoś ca nāmanī cakrur dvijāḥ sampūrṇamānasāḥ ||

„So sei es“, erwiderte Yāja, der Opferpriester, in dem Wunsch, dem König Liebes zu tun. Darauf vollzogen die Brahmanen, von Herzen zufrieden und ihres Zieles gewiss, die Namensgebung der beiden Kinder.
