कश्यपो धर्मपत्नीभ्यां मुदा परमया युत: । वरातिसर्ग श्रुत्वैवं कश्यपादुत्तमं च ते

Transliteration

śaunaka uvāca

kaśyapo dharmapatnībhyāṃ mudā paramayā yutaḥ |

varātisargaṃ śrutvaivaṃ kaśyapād uttamaṃ ca te ||

Translation

Śaunaka sprach: „Kaśyapa, von höchster Freude erfüllt zusammen mit seinen dharmatreuen Gemahlinnen, vernahm so von der Gewährung der Gaben und von der darauf folgenden Schöpfung. Und auch ihr habt von Kaśyapa gehört, was vortrefflich und erhaben ist.“
