Drupada’s Putrakāmeṣṭi: The Sacrificial Birth of Dhṛṣṭadyumna and Kṛṣṇā

स्‍्नातं॑ कृताद्विकं भद्रे कृतकौतुकमजलम्‌ । भीमसेनं भजेथास्त्व॑ प्रागस्तगमनाद्‌ रवे:,भद्रे! जब भीमसेन स्नान, नित्यकर्म तथा मांगलिक वेशभूषा आदि धारण कर लें, तब तुम प्रतिदिन उनके साथ रहकर सूर्यास्त होनेसे पहलेतक ही उनकी सेवा कर सकती हो

snātaṁ kṛtādvikaṁ bhadre kṛtakautukam ajalam | bhīmasenaṁ bhajethās tvaṁ prāg-astagamanād raveḥ ||

Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: „O glückverheißende Frau, sobald Bhīmasena gebadet, seine täglichen Riten vollzogen und seinen segensreichen Schmuck angelegt hat, darfst du ihm dienen und täglich in seiner Nähe bleiben — jedoch nur bis vor Sonnenuntergang.“
