बक-राक्षसस्य आह्वानम् तथा वृक्षयुद्धम्
Summons of Baka and the Tree-Weapon Engagement
गच्छतस्तस्य वेगेन ताक्ष्यमारुतरंहस: । भीमस्य पाणए्जुपुत्राणां मूर्च्छेव समजायत,गरुड़ और वायुके समान तीव्र गतिवाले भीमसेनके चलते समय उनके (महान) वेगसे अन्य पाण्जुपुत्रोंको मूर्च्छा-सी आ जाती थी
gacchatas tasya vegena tākṣyamārutaraṁhasaḥ | bhīmasya pāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ mūrcchā iva samajāyata ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als Bhīma—schnell wie Garuḍa und wie der Wind—mit ungeheurer Geschwindigkeit dahinschritt, wurden die übrigen Söhne Pāṇḍus gleichsam von Benommenheit übermannt, unfähig, der Wucht seines Tempos gleichzukommen oder sie zu ertragen.
