बक-राक्षसस्य आह्वानम् तथा वृक्षयुद्धम्
Summons of Baka and the Tree-Weapon Engagement
वयं तु धृतराष्ट्रेण सपुत्रेण दुरात्मना । विवासिता न दग्धाश्व॒ कथंचिद् दैवसंश्रयात्,“दुरात्मा धृतराष्ट्र और उसके पुत्रोंने तो हमें घरसे निकाल दिया और जलानेकी भी चेष्टा की, परंतु किसी तरह भाग्यके भरोसे हम बच गये हैं
vayaṃ tu dhṛtarāṣṭreṇa saputreṇa durātmanā | vivāsitā na dagdhāś ca kathaṃcid daivasaṃśrayāt ||
Wir aber—von Dhṛtarāṣṭra, diesem niederträchtigen Mann, samt seinen Söhnen aus dem Haus vertrieben—wurden nicht verbrannt; irgendwie überlebten wir, auf das Geschick vertrauend.
