Kuntī–Yudhiṣṭhira Dialogue on Bhīma’s Mission
तं च पापं न जानीमो यदि दग्ध:ः पुरोचन: । कथं तु विप्रमुच्येम भयादस्मादलक्षिता:,“हमें यह भी पता नहीं है कि पापी पुरोचन जल गया या नहीं। हम दूसरोंसे छिपे रहकर किस प्रकार इस महान् कष्टसे छुटकारा पा सकेंगे?”
taṁ ca pāpaṁ na jānīmo yadi dagdhaḥ purocanaḥ | kathaṁ tu vipramucyema bhayād asmād alakṣitāḥ ||
„Wir wissen nicht einmal, ob der ruchlose Purocana im Feuer umgekommen ist. Und wenn wir vor anderen verborgen bleiben müssen—wie sollen wir uns dann von dieser Furcht und dieser Gefahr befreien?“
