आदि पर्व, अध्याय 139 — Hiḍimba’s Detection and Hiḍimbā’s Approach to Bhīma

भीमसेनसहायश्च रथानामयुतं च सः । अर्जुन: समरे प्राच्यान्‌ सर्वानेकरथो5जयत्‌,इसके सिवा अर्जुनने केवल भीमसेनकी सहायतासे एकमात्र रथपर आरूढ़ हो युद्धमें पूर्व दिशाके सम्पूर्ण योद्धाओं तथा दस हजार रथियोंको जीत लिया

bhīmasena-sahāyaś ca rathānām ayutaṃ ca saḥ | arjunaḥ samare prācyān sarvān eka-ratho 'jayat ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Mit Bhīmasena als Beistand besiegte Arjuna—obwohl er allein auf nur einem einzigen Streitwagen stand—im Kampf alle Krieger des Ostens und sogar ein Heer von zehntausend Wagenkämpfern.
