ततो दुर्योधन: कर्णमालम्ब्याग्रकरे नृप: । दीपिकाग्निकृतालोकस्तस्माद्‌ रड्भाद्‌ विनिर्यया,तब दुर्योधन कर्णके हाथकी अगुलियाँ पकड़कर मशालकी रोशनी करा उस रंगभूमिसे बाहर निकल गया

tato duryodhanaḥ karṇam ālambyāgrakare nṛpaḥ | dīpikāgnikṛtālokaḥ tasmād raṅgād viniryayau ||

Daraufhin ergriff König Duryodhana Karṇa bei den Fingern seiner Hand und verließ jene Arena, den Weg erhellt vom Flammenschein einer Fackel.
