जतुगृहदाहः — The Burning of the Lac House and the Pāṇḍavas’ Concealed Escape
स समाजजन: सर्वो निश्चल: स्थिरलोचन: । को<यमित्यागतक्षोभ: कौतूहलपरो5भवत्,रंगभूमिमें जितने लोग थे, वे सब निश्चल होकर एकटक दृष्टिसे देखने लगे। यह कौन है, यह जाननेके लिये उनका चित्त चंचल हो उठा। वे सब-के-सब उत्कण्ठित हो गये
sa samājanaḥ sarvo niścalaḥ sthiralocanaḥ | ko’yam ity āgatakṣobhaḥ kautūhalaparo ’bhavat ||
Da standen alle dort Versammelten reglos, den Blick fest und unbewegt gerichtet. Doch in ihren Herzen regte sich die Frage: „Wer ist das?“—und von Neugier ergriffen, wurden sie von brennendem Verlangen erfüllt, es zu erfahren.
