ही वीर कुरुराजेति ही भीम इति जल्पताम् | पुरुषाणां सुविपुला: प्रणादा: सहसोत्थिता:,कुछ कहते, “अहो! वीर कुरुराज कैसा अद्भुत पराक्रम दिखा रहे हैं।” दूसरे बोल उठते, “वाह! भीमसेन तो गजबका हाथ मारते हैं।! इस तरहकी बातें करनेवाले लोगोंकी भारी आवाजें वहाँ सहसा सब ओर गूँजने लगीं
hī vīra kururājeti hī bhīma iti jalpatām | puruṣāṇāṁ suvipulāḥ praṇādāḥ sahasotthitāḥ ||
Die einen riefen: „Bravo! Welch ein Held — der König der Kurus!“, die anderen: „Bravo, Bhīma!“; und so erhoben sich plötzlich mächtige, anschwellende Zurufe, die ringsum widerhallten.
