एवमेतन्मनुष्येषु तच्च सर्वप्रजास्विति,“इस प्रकार संतानका महत्त्व जैसा मनुष्योंमें मान्य है, उसी प्रकार अन्य सब प्राणियोंमें भी है
evam etan manuṣyeṣu tac ca sarva-prajāsv iti |
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „So ist es unter den Menschen; und derselbe Grundsatz gilt auch für alle Geschöpfe.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
That the importance of progeny/continuity is a universal norm: what humans regard as significant regarding offspring and continuation of the line is likewise true across all living beings, reflecting a shared dharmic-natural order.
Vaiśampāyana, as narrator, affirms a general principle in the course of the Adi Parva’s discussions on lineage and continuation of families: he states that the same rule recognized among humans applies to all creatures.
