यदि योनिं विमुञ्चामि तत्प्रपद्ये महेश्वरम् यावद्धि वैष्णवो वायुर् जातमात्रं न संस्पृशेत्
yadi yoniṃ vimuñcāmi tatprapadye maheśvaram yāvaddhi vaiṣṇavo vāyur jātamātraṃ na saṃspṛśet
Wenn ich aus dem Schoß entlassen werden soll, nehme ich Zuflucht zu Maheśvara — solange der vaiṣṇavische Wind (Vaiṣṇava vāyu) das Neugeborene im Augenblick der Geburt noch nicht berührt.

Śiva is presented as Maheśvara—the supreme Pati who alone can grant safe passage beyond yoni (birth-bondage), implying His sovereignty over prāṇa, embodiment, and the pasha of saṃsāra.
The verse emphasizes immediate surrender and protective purity at birth; in a Shaiva-Pāśupata reading, it points to guarding prāṇa/saṃskāra influences and establishing the soul’s orientation toward Pati (Śiva) from the very beginning.
