Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

सहस्रशिरसे तुभ्यं सहस्राय च ते नमः सहस्रपादयुक्ताय शर्वाय परमेष्ठिने

sahasraśirase tubhyaṃ sahasrāya ca te namaḥ sahasrapādayuktāya śarvāya parameṣṭhine

Verneigung vor Dir, o Tausendhäuptiger; Verneigung vor Dir, dem Tausend selbst. Verneigung vor Śarva, dem mit tausend Füßen Begabten—vor dem höchsten Herrn, über allem thronend, dem Pati jenseits aller Maße.
