अध्याय 66: इक्ष्वाकुवंश-ऐलवंशप्रवाहः (त्रिशङ्कु-राम-ययात्यादि-प्रकरणम्)
तोषितस्तेन विप्रेन्द्रः प्रीतः परमभास्वरम् सुसंगं काञ्चनं दिव्यम् अक्षये च महेषुधी
toṣitastena viprendraḥ prītaḥ paramabhāsvaram susaṃgaṃ kāñcanaṃ divyam akṣaye ca maheṣudhī
So von ihm erfreut, schenkte der vornehmste der Brahmanen—vor Freude strahlend—eine höchst leuchtende, wohlgeschmückte, göttliche Gabe aus Gold, dazu eine unerschöpfliche Versorgung; denn so groß ist die Wirkkraft heiliger Gabe, wenn sie ehrfürchtig dem Vipra dargebracht und Pati, dem Herrn Mahādeva, geweiht wird.
