एष वः कथितः सर्वो वासिष्ठानां समासतः प्रभवः शक्तिसूनोश् च प्रभावो मुनिपुङ्गवाः

Transliteration

eṣa vaḥ kathitaḥ sarvo vāsiṣṭhānāṃ samāsataḥ prabhavaḥ śaktisūnoś ca prabhāvo munipuṅgavāḥ

Translation

O ihr Vordersten der Weisen, so habe ich euch kurz den ganzen Ursprung der Vasiṣṭhas geschildert, ebenso die Größe und geistige Kraft des Sohnes der Śakti—dessen Tapas und śaivische Gnade berühmt wurden.
