ग्रहसंख्यावर्णनम् — ध्रुवस्य तपोबलात् ध्रुवस्थानप्राप्तिः

तमभ्ययुर्महात्मानं बुद्धिमोहाय भीषणाः जपन् स वासुदेवेति न किंचित् प्रत्यपद्यत

Transliteration

tamabhyayurmahātmānaṃ buddhimohāya bhīṣaṇāḥ japan sa vāsudeveti na kiṃcit pratyapadyata

Translation

Die Schrecklichen stürmten auf den Großgesinnten zu, um seine Unterscheidungskraft zu verwirren; doch er, das Mantra „Vāsudeva“ wiederholend, wich nicht im Geringsten.
