Suta Goswami (narrating the cosmological teaching within the Linga Purana)
It frames solar motion as regulated cosmic order (ṛta) and Kāla; in Linga worship, this supports performing Shiva-puja in harmony with time—daily discipline that steadies the pashu (soul) and turns worship into a timed sādhana.
Though Shiva is not named, the verse implies a governed cosmos where time and celestial movement are upheld by higher order; in Shaiva Siddhanta terms, such governance ultimately rests in Pati—Shiva—as the transcendent regulator of Kāla that binds and releases the pashu from pāśa through right order and knowledge.
Regularity of practice: observing time-based disciplines (nitya-puja, sandhyā-aligned worship, vrata timing). This is compatible with Pāśupata-style sādhana where steadiness and regulated conduct purify the bonds (pāśa).
