भुवनकोशविन्यासनिर्णयः (ज्योतिर्गति-वृष्टिचक्र-वर्णनम्)

मौहूर्तिकी गतिर्ह्येषा भास्करस्य महात्मनः एतेन गतियोगेन यदा काष्ठां तु दक्षिणाम्

Transliteration

mauhūrtikī gatirhyeṣā bhāskarasya mahātmanaḥ etena gatiyogena yadā kāṣṭhāṃ tu dakṣiṇām

Translation

Dies ist wahrlich der muhūrta‑weise Lauf der großherzigen Sonne. Nach eben diesem Prinzip des bemessenen Ganges, wenn sie die südliche «kāṣṭhā» erreicht, schreitet die Zeitrechnung entsprechend fort und offenbart das Gesetz der niyati, das die Welt unter dem Pati (Śiva) ordnet.
