युगधर्मवर्णनम् — चतुर्युग, गुण, धर्मपाद, तथा वार्तोत्पत्ति

प्रादुरासंस्तदा तासां वृक्षास्ते गृहसंज्ञिताः सर्ववृत्त्युपभोगस्तु तासां तेभ्यः प्रजायते
Transliteration
prādurāsaṃstadā tāsāṃ vṛkṣāste gṛhasaṃjñitāḥ sarvavṛttyupabhogastu tāsāṃ tebhyaḥ prajāyate
Translation
Dann erschienen für sie jene Bäume, die als „Häuser“ bekannt sind; und aus ihnen erwuchs für jene Wesen der Genuss aller Mittel des Lebensunterhalts—Nahrung und Gebrauch—gemäß der ihnen zugewiesenen Weise des Daseins.
