Adhyaya 22 — शिवानुग्रहः, ब्रह्मतपः, एकादशरुद्राः तथा प्राणतत्त्वम्

सूत उवाच अत्यन्तावनतौ दृष्ट्वा मधुपिङ्गायतेक्षणः प्रहृष्टवदनो ऽत्यर्थम् अभवत्सत्यकीर्तनात्

sūta uvāca atyantāvanatau dṛṣṭvā madhupiṅgāyatekṣaṇaḥ prahṛṣṭavadano 'tyartham abhavatsatyakīrtanāt

Sūta sprach: Als er sah, wie sie sich in tiefster Demut verneigten, wurde er—dessen Augen honiggolden waren—im Antlitz überaus erfreut, denn er war mit wahrhaftigen Worten gepriesen worden.
