Aśauca-vidhi — Rules of Birth/Death Impurity, Sapinda Circles, and Śrāddha Sequence

अग्नौ मरुप्रपतने वीराध्वन्यप्यनाशके / ब्राह्मणार्थे च संन्यस्ते सद्यः शौचं विधीयते

agnau maruprapatane vīrādhvanyapyanāśake / brāhmaṇārthe ca saṃnyaste sadyaḥ śaucaṃ vidhīyate

Stirbt jemand im Feuer, oder durch Sturz in der Wüste, oder auf einem heldenhaften Zug—selbst wenn der Leib nicht geborgen wird—so wird „sofortige Reinheit“ (sadyaḥ-śauca) vorgeschrieben. Ebenso, wenn jemand förmlich als tot erklärt und um eines Brāhmaṇa willen als Verstorbener übergeben wurde, wird ebenfalls sofortige Reinheit angeordnet.
