Daily Duties of Brāhmaṇas: Snāna, Sandhyā, Sūrya-hṛdaya, Japa, Tarpaṇa, and the Pañca-mahāyajñas

अथोपतिष्ठेदादित्यमुदयन्तं समाहितः / मन्त्रैस्तु विविधैः सौरेरृग्यजुः सामसंभवैः

athopatiṣṭhedādityamudayantaṃ samāhitaḥ / mantraistu vividhaiḥ saurerṛgyajuḥ sāmasaṃbhavaiḥ

Dann soll man, mit gesammeltem Geist, in ehrfürchtiger Gegenwart vor der aufgehenden Sonne (Āditya) stehen und sie mit vielfältigen Sonnenmantras verehren, die aus den Traditionen von Ṛg-, Yajur- und Sāma-Veda stammen.
