Puṁsavana / Viṣṇu-vrata: Worship of Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa for Auspicious Progeny and Fortune
A devotee knows how to appreciate the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
This verse praises the Lord as nirapekṣa—independent and needing nothing—showing that Bhagavan is complete in Himself and not dependent on any external cause or fulfillment.
Because the Supreme Lord is intrinsically complete; unlike conditioned beings, He does not seek fulfillment through objects or outcomes, so His will is never driven by lack.
It helps a devotee shift from chasing achievements as ultimate goals to offering efforts in devotion, seeing all abilities and successes as gifts to be used in dharma and service.
