The Disappearance of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the Aftermath in Dvārakā

बन्धूनां नष्टगोत्राणामर्जुन: साम्परायिकम् । हतानां कारयामास यथावदनुपूर्वश: ॥ २२ ॥

bandhūnāṁ naṣṭa-gotrāṇām arjunaḥ sāmparāyikam hatānāṁ kārayām āsa yathā-vad anupūrvaśaḥ

Daraufhin sorgte Arjuna dafür, dass für die Toten, die keine männlichen Angehörigen ihrer Linie mehr hatten, die Bestattungsriten ordnungsgemäß vollzogen wurden. Für jeden der Yadus führte er die vorgeschriebenen Zeremonien der Reihe nach aus.
