O König, Dāruka berichtete von der völligen Vernichtung der Vṛṣṇis. Als die Menschen dies hörten, wurden ihre Herzen erschüttert und sie waren vor Kummer wie betäubt.
In this verse, Śukadeva Gosvāmī states that the destruction of the Vṛṣṇis was narrated completely, and hearing it plunged the people into intense grief and shock.
Because Canto 11 describes the Lord’s concluding pastimes on earth, including the end of the Vṛṣṇi line as part of the divine arrangement surrounding Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s departure.
Even sacred communities can face upheaval; this verse encourages steadiness in devotion and remembrance of God when confronted with sudden loss and collective grief.
