न स्तुवीत न निन्देत कुर्वत: साध्वसाधु वा । वदतो गुणदोषाभ्यां वर्जित: समदृङ्मुनि: ॥ १६ ॥
na stuvīta na nindeta kurvataḥ sādhv asādhu vā vadato guṇa-doṣābhyāṁ varjitaḥ sama-dṛṅ muniḥ
Der heilige Weise mit gleichmütiger Schau wird vom materiell Guten oder Schlechten nicht berührt. Auch wenn er andere Gutes oder Böses tun und richtig oder falsch sprechen sieht, lobt oder tadelt er niemanden.
