so ’pi dagdhāv iti mṛṣā manvāno bala-keśavau balam ākṛṣya su-mahan magadhān māgadho yayau

Translation

Jarāsandha aus Magadha meinte irrtümlich, Balarāma und Keśava seien im Feuer verbrannt; daher zog er sein gewaltiges Heer zurück und kehrte in das Reich Magadha heim.
