The Killing of Keśī and Vyomāsura; Nārada’s Prophetic Praise of Kṛṣṇa

Als Kṛṣṇa, der Zufluchtsgeber der Heiligen, sein Tun erkannte, packte er den Dämon mit Macht, während dieser die Jungen fortschleppte — wie ein Löwe einen Wolf ergreift.

FAQs

This verse describes Kṛṣṇa as śaraṇadaḥ satām—one who gives refuge to the saintly—and shows Him immediately stopping danger by seizing Vṛka who was leading the cowherd boys away.

Vṛka is portrayed here as a wolf-like threat who was taking the cowherd boys away; Kṛṣṇa, understanding his harmful intent, forcefully captured him.

The verse encourages trusting divine protection: when one aligns with dharma and takes sincere shelter of the Lord, fear decreases and one gains strength to confront harmful influences.
