ahayo ’śani-niḥśvāsā vamanto ’gniṁ ruṣākṣibhiḥ abhyadhāvan gajā mattāḥ siṁha-vyāghrāś ca yūthaśaḥ

Translation

Dhruva Mahārāja sah auch viele große Schlangen mit zornigen Augen, die wie Blitze schnaubten, Feuer spien und heranstürmten, um ihn zu verschlingen; dazu kamen Horden rasender Elefanten sowie Gruppen von Löwen und Tigern.
