सने॑मि च॒क्रम॒जरं॒ वि वा॑वृत उत्ता॒नायां॒ दश॑ यु॒क्ता व॑हन्ति । सूर्य॑स्य॒ चक्षू॒ रज॑सै॒त्यावृ॑तं॒ यस्मि॑न्नात॒स्थुर्भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑
sánemi cakrám ajáram ví vāvṛt uttānā́yāṃ dáśa yuktā́ vahanti | sū́ryasya cákṣū rájasā́ity āvṛ́taṃ yásminn ātásthur bhúvanāni víśvā
The rimmed wheel, unaging, hath rolled forth; upon the outspread expanse ten yoked ones draw it on. The Sun’s eye goeth, wrapped about with rajas; therein all worlds have taken their firm station.
Das Rad mit Felge, unalternd, hat sich ausgerollt und ist hervorgegangen; auf der ausgebreiteten Weite ziehen zehn Angespannte es dahin. Das Auge der Sonne geht, vom rajas umhüllt; darin haben alle Welten festen Stand genommen.
