इन्द्रस्य वर्मासि ।तं त्वा प्र पद्ये तं त्वा प्रविशामि सर्वगुः सर्वपूरुषः सर्वात्मा सर्वतनूः सह यन्मेऽस्ति तेन
índrasya vármā́si | táṃ tvā́ prá padyé táṃ tvā́ práviśāmi sárvaguḥ sárvapū́ruṣaḥ sárvā́tmā sárvatanū́ḥ sáha yán me ’sti téna
Thou art Indra’s armour. To thee I betake me; into thee I enter—complete in cattle, complete in men, complete in vital self, complete in body—together with whatsoever is mine, with that (all) I enter.
Du bist Indras Panzer. Zu dir nehme ich Zuflucht; in dich trete ich ein—voll an Vieh, voll an Menschen, voll an Lebensselbst, voll an Leib—zusammen mit allem, was mein ist: damit (allem) trete ich ein.
