Sukta 17

तस्य॒ व्रात्य॑स्य । यदा॑दि॒त्यम॑भिसंवि॒शन्त्य॑मावा॒स्यां चै॒व तत् पौ॑र्णमा॒सीं च॑

tásya vrā́tyasya | yadā́dityám abhi-saṃviśánty amāvāsyā́ṃ caivá tát paurṇamāsī́ṃ ca

Of that Vrātya: when they enter into the Sun—then that is, in very truth, both the New-moon and the Full-moon.

Von jenem Vrātya: wenn sie in die Sonne eingehen—dann ist dies wahrlich sowohl Neumond als auch Vollmond.
