अ॒य॒ज्ञि॒यो ह॒तव॑र्चा भवति॒ नैने॑न ह॒विरत्त॑वे । छि॒नत्ति॑ कृ॒ष्या गोर्धना॒द् यं क्र॒व्याद॑नु॒वर्त॑ते
ayajñíyo hatávarcā́ bhavati náinena havír áttave | chinátti kṛṣyā́ górdhanād yáṃ kravyā́d anuvártate
Unfit for sacrifice, with splendour smitten down, he becometh; by him the oblation is not for eating: the flesh-devourer, following whom, cutteth him off from tillage and from cattle-wealth.
