सितं कृते त्रेतायुगेऽरुणं विभुं तथा तृतीये पीतवर्णमच्युतम् । कलौ घनालिप्रतिमं महेश्वरं गदाधरं प्रणमति यः सुखं वसेत् ॥ ७.३३ ॥

sitaṃ kṛte tretāyuge'ruṇaṃ vibhuṃ tathā tṛtīye pītavarṇam acyutam | kalau ghanālipratimaṃ maheśvaraṃ gadādharaṃ praṇamati yaḥ sukhaṃ vaset || 7.33 ||

কৃতযুগে তিনি শ্বেত; ত্রেতাযুগে সেই বিভু অরুণবর্ণ; তৃতীয় (দ্বাপর) যুগে অচ্যুত পীতবর্ণ। কলিযুগে তিনি ঘন মেঘপুঞ্জসম শ্যাম—মহেশ্বর, গদাধর। যে তাঁকে প্রণাম করে, সে সুখে থাকে।
