देवा रौद्राणि भूतानि निरसन्तो यमालयम् । चिक्षिपुः सायकान् घोरान् असिंश्च सपरश्वधान् ॥ २१.४२ ॥

devā raudrāṇi bhūtāni nirasanto yamālayam | cikṣipuḥ sāyakān ghorān asīṃś ca saparaśvadhān || 21.42 ||

দেবগণ রৌদ্র ভয়ংকর ভূতদের তাড়িয়ে যমালয়ের দিকে অগ্রসর হলেন। তাঁরা ভীষণ শর নিক্ষেপ করলেন এবং খড়্গ ও পরশু চালালেন।
