पृष्टोऽसौ ब्राह्मणो भद्रे क्व भवान् त्वमिहागतः ॥ स सर्वं कथयामास यथावृत्तं दृढव्रतः ॥

pṛṣṭo 'sau brāhmaṇo bhadre kva bhavāṃs tvam ihāgataḥ || sa sarvaṃ kathayāmāsa yathāvṛttaṃ dṛḍha-vrataḥ ||

হে ভদ্রে, সেই ব্রাহ্মণকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হল—“আপনি এখানে কোথা থেকে এসেছেন?” তখন দৃঢ়ব্রতী তিনি যা যেমন ঘটেছিল, সবই বর্ণনা করলেন।
