Ritual Regulations on Permissible Foods for Offering and Consumption
वर्जयेत्तत्र मांसानि यजुषा वैष्णवोऽश्नुते ॥ परं पायसमपि वर्ज्यानि तन्मांसं चेतकः खुरे ॥
varjayet tatra māṁsāni yajuṣā vaiṣṇavo 'śnute || paraṁ pāyasam api varjyāni tanmāṁsaṁ cetakaḥ khure |
সেই প্রসঙ্গে মাংস বর্জন করা উচিত; বৈষ্ণব যজুষ্-মন্ত্রসহ (নিয়মিত রীতিতে) গ্রহণ করে। এমনকি শ্রেষ্ঠ পায়সও বর্জনীয়, যদি তা সেই মাংসের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত হয়—এটাই এই অংশের নির্দেশ।
