Navanīta-Dhenu

मन्त्रास्त एव जप्तव्याः सर्वधेनुषु ये स्मृताः ।। पुरा देवासुरैः सर्वैः सागरस्य तु मन्थने ॥

mantrās ta eva japtavyāḥ sarvadhenuṣu ye smṛtāḥ || purā devāsuraiḥ sarvaiḥ sāgarasya tu manthane ||

গো-অর্ঘ্য/ধেনু-দানে যে সকল মন্ত্র স্মৃত, সেই মন্ত্রগুলিই জপ করতে হবে—যেমন পূর্বে সমুদ্র-মন্থনের কালে সকল দেব ও অসুর করেছিল।
