लिंगेऽवतारयामास जगद्दीपं महेश्वरम् । यश्चैनं पूजयेद्भक्त्या नरः सम्यक्च पश्यति । तस्य पापं क्षयं याति अपि ब्रह्मवधोद्भवम्
liṃge'vatārayāmāsa jagaddīpaṃ maheśvaram | yaścainaṃ pūjayedbhaktyā naraḥ samyakca paśyati | tasya pāpaṃ kṣayaṃ yāti api brahmavadhodbhavam
সে লিঙ্গে জগতের দীপ মহেশ্বরকে অবতীর্ণ করল। যে ভক্তিভরে তাঁর পূজা করে ও যথার্থ দর্শন করে, তার পাপ—ব্রহ্মহত্যাজনিতও—ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত হয়।
