ईश्वर उवाच । पुरा दैत्यगणा रौद्रा बभूवुर्वरवर्णिनि । कालकेया इति ख्यातास्त्रैलोक्योच्छेदकारकाः
īśvara uvāca | purā daityagaṇā raudrā babhūvurvaravarṇini | kālakeyā iti khyātāstrailokyocchedakārakāḥ
ঈশ্বর বললেন—হে সুন্দরবর্ণা, প্রাচীন কালে ভয়ংকর দৈত্যদল উদ্ভূত হয়েছিল; তারা ‘কালকেয়’ নামে খ্যাত, ত্রিলোক ধ্বংসে উদ্যত ছিল।
