संयोगजस्य पापस्य हरणाद्धरिणी स्मृता । नदी पुण्यजलोपेता सप्ताहमवगाहनात्
saṃyogajasya pāpasya haraṇāddhariṇī smṛtā | nadī puṇyajalopetā saptāhamavagāhanāt
অসৎ-সংযোগজাত পাপ হরণ করে বলে তিনি ‘হরিণী’ নামে স্মৃত। পুণ্যজলে সমৃদ্ধ সেই নদীতে সাত দিন অবগাহন করলে শুদ্ধি হয়।
