अहिंसासदृशं पुण्यं दानात्संचयनं परम् । तपश्चानशनान्नास्ति तथा तीर्थनिषेवणात्

Transliteration

ahiṃsāsadṛśaṃ puṇyaṃ dānātsaṃcayanaṃ param | tapaścānaśanānnāsti tathā tīrthaniṣevaṇāt

অহিংসার সমান কোনো পুণ্য নেই; দানের চেয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ কোনো সঞ্চয় নেই। অনশনের সমান কোনো তপ নেই; তদ্রূপ তীর্থ-নিষেবনের তুল্য কিছুই নেই।
