snātvā tatra śucirbhūtvā tvatha saṃtarpayetpitṝn | aśvamedhamavāpnoti sarvapāpavivarjitaḥ
সেখানে স্নান করে শুচি হয়ে যে পিতৃগণকে তৃপ্ত করে, সে সর্বপাপমুক্ত হয়ে অশ্বমেধ যজ্ঞের ফল লাভ করে।
