ब्राह्मण उवाच । यदि देवाः प्रसन्ना मे कूपान्निष्कमणे त्वहम् । यष्टा स्वं मंदिरं गत्वा देवयज्ञं करोम्यहम्

Transliteration

brāhmaṇa uvāca | yadi devāḥ prasannā me kūpānniṣkamaṇe tvaham | yaṣṭā svaṃ maṃdiraṃ gatvā devayajñaṃ karomyaham

Translation

ব্রাহ্মণ বললেন—যদি দেবগণ আমার প্রতি প্রসন্ন হন, তবে আমি এই কূপ থেকে বেরোতে সক্ষম হই। নিজ গৃহে গিয়ে আমি বিধিপূর্বক দেবযজ্ঞ সম্পাদন করব।
