यम उवाच । अकाले नात्र चायाति कश्चिद्ब्राह्मणसत्तम । मुहूर्तमपि नो जीवेत्पूर्णकालेन वै भुवि
yama uvāca | akāle nātra cāyāti kaścidbrāhmaṇasattama | muhūrtamapi no jīvetpūrṇakālena vai bhuvi
যম বললেন—হে ব্রাহ্মণসত্তম, এখানে কেউ অকালেই আসে না। পৃথিবীতে নির্ধারিত পূর্ণকাল শেষ হলে কোনো প্রাণী এক মুহূর্তও অধিক বাঁচে না।
